"OUR COUNTRY INDIA LOOKS DIRTY"

TANMAY VIVEK.
“Beauty lies not in the eyes of the holder; But in the eye of the beholder”.
Respected chairperson, honorable members of the jury, and everyone present, a very good morning to all of you.
India looks dirty. But is it really so? India , the land of perception, the land presenting a kaleidoscope of cultures of the world, the sacred land with several holy rivers and potent spiritual vibrations. How can it be dirty? It is a land peculiarly suitable for divine contemplation and yogic practices. I completely disagree with my opponents who claim thousands facts proclaiming that India is dirty. India is like the beacon light to the entire world in terms of scenic as well as spiritual beauty. The country bearing the crown of the mystic Himalayas , wearing the garland of ostentatious rivers like Ganges and the lush green forests can never be dirty. An expression of dirt would be an insult to the splendor of India .
My erudite opponents stand here and venture to ignore the soothing ambiance of a country as transcendent as India . India is proud of her sons. She is proud of Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh. She is proud of Guru Govind Singh and Shivaji. She is proud of Kalidas and Valmiki. Lord Krishna and Lord Ram and all the other avatars were born in India . How sanctifying is India . How enthralling and charismatic is India . The holy dust of Brindaban and Ayodhya, the land trodden by the sacred feet of Lord Krishna and Lord Ram still purify the hearts of countless people. All these are facts and facts will not cease to exist just because they are ignored.
Now, I would like to instigate you all with an intricate question that is beauty only skin deep. Are we here today just to declare the verdict of India looking dirty? No, not at all. Any association with words like dirt and filth are miles away from the magnificence of mother India .
To conclude friends, I would like to say that no matter whatever happens, a country as magnanimous as ours; a country as benign as ours will not be sullied by dirt personified as some fanatic ideals and morals. We as proud son of our mother will not let that happen. I quote “one should not bark against the bad, but chant the beauty of good”. The charisma of being an Indian will always remain unmanifest, unconquered and unparalleled as ever.
Thank you
